Company milestone
1994 / 02 Wellypower Optronics Corporation was started with the capital of US $1, 470, 600 as a joint venture of China Electric Corporation and ELEVAM Corporation of Japan.
1996 / 12 The capital was increased to US $5, 855, 000. Automatons were introduced to improve the production capacity.
1997 / 05 The capital was increased to US $10, 560, 000. More automatons were added to expand the production capacity.
1998 / 12 Wellpower Optronics Corporation was established with an aim to manufacture and market Contact Image Sensor (CIS) .
1999 / 07 Taiwan Iwasaki Electric Corporation was merged with wellypower and renamed as Eilevam Corporation, the main business of which is fabricating and marketing HID Iamps.
1999 / 12 The capital was increased to US $15, 560, 000. More automation was brought to the production line.
2000 / 01 Wellypower Optronics Corporation (SUZHOU) was founded to manufacture and market CCFL.
2001 / 03 Wellypower headquarters / factory moved to a new site in Hsinchu Industrial Park.
2002 / 01 Wellypower expanded its capital to US $19, 300, 000 and obtained the UL ISO 9001 Year 2000 edition Certificate.
2004 / 04 Obtained the UL ISO 14001 Certificate.
2006 LED produciton started
2007 HCFL (T5) production started
